First Team Coach Mohamed Abdel El Sameh

Coach Mohamed Abdel El Sameh, born in Sudan, 1955, studied at Higher Institute for Physical Education in Gizah where he acquired his scientific degree.
His career as left back/stopper at Ahly was almost interrupted in 1977 by a cross ligaments injury but coach Mohamed went on to play for Mokawloon, aka Arab Contractors.
After hanging up his boots Mohamed’s coaching career started at junior level with Arab Contractors, before moving on to coach the U-18’s with English trainer Tony Banfield. Mohamed also worked closely together with Joseph Hickesperger, current coach of the national team of Austria. |

Kamel El Sayeed is from Gizah, 20 november 1959. Kamel accomplished a commercial degree in Cairo University in 1984 and acquired a license for football training from the Egyptian Football Federation. He has been associated with Tersana, Zamalek Plastic and Misr Petrol Cairo.

Goalkeeping Coach Sayed Mohamed Ahmed |

Sayed Mohamed Ahmed from 01-02-1956 and Aswan are almost synonymous. Born and bred, Sayed defended Aswan’s team goal until 1988 before becoming goal keeper training coach with his local team. Yet, the challenge to become part of an exciting new venture saw Sayed moving down the Nile from Aswan via Luxor and heading straight for El Gouna with the first bus before the 2004/05 season.

Man of first hour Fagr Kamel, was born in Mansoura on 4 October 1971. Kamel graduated from Richland College, Dallas, Texas in 1999 with a degree within physical therapy practice. Fagr joined El Gouna FC as physiotherapist in 2003/04.

Ahmed from Mansoera, March 1982, graduated ‘cum laude’ from Suez Canal University in 2003 in Physical Education. He was employed as masseur at El Matariya Club from Mansoura. Ahmed joined El Gouna Football Club during the 2004/2005 season and looks after the team as assistant club doctor and masseur.

Ahmed Sehify first saw daylight in Hurghada in 1964 and learned his skills within commercial education. In 1987 he became in charge of the private marine fleet of Mr Samih Sawaris and has been his co-worker ever since. Ahmed now supervises the Abu Tig and Abydos Marina’s in Hurghada as Marina Activity Manager for Orascom, responsible for all marine activities such as licesnsing, maintenance, rent and dealing with port authorities.

Osama Salah was born in Beni Suef on 4 september 1963 and graduated from the Faculty of Commerce at the Ain Shams University in Cairo in 1983. Before joining Orascom as financial controller in El Gouna in 1995, Osama was employed as accountant with the Shamalco Tourist Company.

Jehan from Mansoura graduated from Alson Faculty, studying German and English, at the Ain Shams University in Cairo. She has been active in the hospitality industry from 1995 till 1998 in both Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh in various functions, before joining Orascom in 1998 as secretary to financial controller Osama Salah.
